The ASU Arthropod Collection contains over 5,000 non-insect specimens (Class: Arachnida), including scorpions, spiders, ticks, and mites. The collection is an actively growing collection and serves as an important regional resource for research, teaching, and outreach. The specimens are preserved in alcohol or on microscope slides. Most specimens are from the southwestern United States and Sonora Mexico. For further information and to arrange a visit or loan, please contact Curator Dr. Nico Franz (email@example.com) or Collection Manager Dr. Sangmi Lee (firstname.lastname@example.org).
